James Ray Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ICT Teacher to support a secondary school in St Helens on a maternity cover basis starting in April.

About the Role:
As a Secondary School ICT Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective ICT/Computing lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
You will step into the classroom to cover a maternity leave position, maintaining high standards of teaching while supporting students in developing their digital skills, computational thinking, and understanding of modern technology.
Working within a supportive and welcoming school environment, you will help create a positive and inclusive learning space, encouraging students to build confidence and succeed in a digital world.
What We're Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching ICT/Computing at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for teaching and student success
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles
• Effective classroom management skills
• Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and support staff
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and assessment to students
• Flexibility and resilience in a busy school environment
• Commitment to continuous professional development
