How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the School
This specialist setting caters for pupils with a range of complex additional needs and provides a structured, nurturing, and trauma-informed environment. The school focuses on creating a safe and consistent space where pupils can rebuild confidence, develop emotional regulation, and re-engage with education.
With small class sizes and a high level of support staff, teaching is highly personalised and adapted to meet each pupil's individual needs. The ethos centres around patience, understanding, and celebrating progress in all forms.

    * Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
    * Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
    * ADHD and associated behavioural challenges
    * Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
    * Trauma backgrounds and disrupted educational experiences
Pupils may display behaviours linked to anxiety, dysregulation, or attachment needs. Staff are supported to use consistent, trauma-informed approaches and positive behaviour strategies.

    The Role
As a SEN Teacher, you will:
    * Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to a wide range of abilities
    * Create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
    * Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
    * Work closely with Teaching Assistants and wider multidisciplinary teams
    * Implement behaviour strategies and adapt teaching to meet complex needs
    ________________________________________
    Opportunities Available
    * Full-time, long-term teaching role with potential for permanent placement
    * Flexible opportunities may be available for teachers seeking a better work-life balance
    * Supportive leadership and ongoing CPD opportunities
    ________________________________________
    The Ideal Candidate
    * Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    * Has experience working with SEN, particularly SEMH and/or ASC
    * Demonstrates a calm, resilient, and adaptable teaching style
    * Has a strong understanding of behaviour management and trauma-informed practice
    * Is passionate about inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners
