How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking an Intern Development & Feasibility EMEA to join our team in London, UK.

    Job Summary

    The Intern Development & Feasibility EMEA will be working as part of the EMEA Development & Feasibility teams, providing support on potential opportunities as well as keeping informed on market trends. The Intern will work individually and alongside Interns from other corporate departments on business-critical projects to provide support and resources in line with the strategic priorities of the EMEA division.

    Successful candidates must be able to provide proof of their right to work in the UK.

    Responsibilities

    Hotel Development

    Assist with general research, preparation of offers and pitches. Departmental admin and project evaluation.

    Development Marketing

    Assist with the creation of new and updating existing brand collateral as well as PR opportunities.

    Feasibility & Strategic Growth

    • Conduct market research and maintain relevant databases on economics and tourism statistics, market intelligence, hotel supply and demand etc.
    • Assist with analysing data and presenting findings in written documentation.
    • Contribute to the team’s knowledge base through specific and targeted assignments in relevant areas of interest.

    Feasibility & Research

    • Prepare feasibility studies for EMEA projects.
    • Maintain the EMEA hotel database and EMEA library.
    • Responsible for producing the monthly internal HotelNews article.

    Ad hoc projects

    Internship Group Project: All Interns are involved in a business-critical project during their internship.

    Employee Engagement Committee: All Interns support the Committee in organising activities/ initiatives under 3 pillars: People, Community and Sustainability.

    The activities and contribution of the Intern Development & Feasibility EMEA will impact on the performance of the business. They will act on behalf of the business to reduce risk by implementing company policies. They will be required to exercise sound judgment and integrity at all times to ensure confidentiality of protected information.

    Experience & Qualifications

    • Studying towards a degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management, Real Estate or similar field.
    • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential; an additional language would be an advantage.
    • Must be a highly capable user of MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

    Organisational Relationships

    The Intern Development & Feasibility EMEA will report to the Head of Strategic Development EMEA. They will also work closely with the wider EMEA Development & Feasibility teams.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • £25,875 gross per annum, prorated for the duration of the internship.
    • 25 days of holidays per annum (accrued basis).
