PK Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Sheffield on a part-time basis. This role will be covering the back end of a maternity leave from Easter until the end of the summer term, making it an excellent opportunity for teachers looking for a short-term role in a supportive school environment. The role will be for 3 days per week, with the specific days to be confirmed.
The Role
The successful candidate will deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop confidence and strong problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum, ensuring students remain engaged and make good academic progress. The role will involve maintaining a positive classroom environment, supporting student learning, and working closely with the Maths department to ensure continuity during the maternity cover period.
This role is ideal for teachers looking for part-time work or a short-term position while still making a meaningful impact on students’ learning.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a qualified Maths Teacher who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities. You should be reliable, adaptable, and committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
