The Role
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective English lessons that support strong student progress in both English Language and Literature. You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and assessing work in line with departmental and national expectations while supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential. The role also involves contributing to the development of the English curriculum and working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced department.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching English within a secondary school setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English education, alongside the ability to motivate and inspire students. High expectations for behaviour and achievement are essential, as well as a commitment to inclusive education and supporting all learners.
