Year 5 Teacher - Burnley
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Burnley. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring pupils to reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 5 class, delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum and supporting pupils both academically and personally as they prepare for the transition into upper KS2.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons for a Year 5 class
Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching where required
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
Contribute to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable)
Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
Is enthusiastic, organised, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
