Masterclass Education have been tasked in recruiting a KS1 teacher for a 2 form entry primary school in the Chichester area. This post if for at least 1 year but could become permanent and due to start after the May half term with a transition period, 1 week before.
The school is situated in the centre of Chichester with great public transport links. They have an amazing outdoor area along with a forest school for all the children to enjoy. They use the Twinkl Phonics Scheme, with daily 30-minute lessons as well as guided reading.
The class is currently exceeding expectations, and the children are very keen to learn. There is a child with an EHCP, so experience in SEN would be an advantage but not essential.
The head is very keen to meet with potential candidates before Easter and welcomes anyone who would like to tour beforehand.
Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all of our candidates.

* Holds QTS (the school is happy to consider ECTs for the role)
* Are knowledgeable across KS1

* Are drivers or very good with public transport
