Are you a passionate and experienced Science Teacher looking to inspire young minds?
HG Recruitment are seeking a dedicated educator to join a High School in Prescot, Merseyside, on an ongoing basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact delivering engaging, high-quality science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science.

Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Learning
Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured and inspiring science lessons that meet curriculum standards.
Use a range of teaching strategies and practical experiments to engage students and support diverse learning styles.
Differentiate lessons to accommodate students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
Assessment and Reporting
Design, administer, and mark assessments to measure student understanding and progress.
Provide regular, constructive feedback to students and parents.
Maintain accurate records of student achievement, progress, and attendance.
Classroom Management
Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment.
Enforce laboratory safety protocols and supervise practical sessions responsibly.
Manage student behaviour in line with school policies.
Skills and Attributes:
Passion for science and education.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong classroom management and organisational abilities.
Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
Education and Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ideally required.
Experience teaching Science at secondary level.
