How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    The Education Specialists (TES) are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers across the Liverpool area to join our supply register. We have a range of opportunities available, including day-to-day cover, short-term assignments and long-term placements.

    The schools we work with offer supportive, friendly environments focused on delivering outstanding education. You will be welcomed by experienced leadership teams and have the opportunity to teach across different year groups, allowing you to broaden your experience and explore a variety of teaching styles and school settings.

    What we’re looking for in a Primary Teacher:

    * Track, assess and document pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support development

    * Work in partnership with colleagues, support staff and parents to promote learning and pupil wellbeing

    * Follow school policies, safeguarding standards and uphold inclusive and equal practices

    * Demonstrate strong classroom management and effective organisation

    * Show enthusiasm for teaching with a genuine commitment to helping children reach their potential

    Who is suitable to apply:

    * Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

    * Previous teaching experience within UK primary schools is required

    * An enhanced DBS check will be necessary

    * Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
