How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are on the lookout for Sales Associates to come on board and join us across our Furnishing Fabrics department, so if you’re inspired by interiors and obsessive over homeware, carry on reading.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Service for Sales:

    • Provides service excellence to maximise sales – emphasis on furnishing fabrics
    • Initiating consultations and conversations – storytelling and relationship building
    • We are looking to recruit a FT team member to fill the vacancy at the Furnishing Fabrics/ Bedding/ Interiors room on 4th Floor with interiors knowledge and training to improve and upgrade our service proposition. It would ideally be an Interior Design Uni graduate in order to be able to advise clients and make informed propositions using different Liberty products and who could be further trained by the Liberty team.
    • Is visible on the floor
    • Acknowledges all customers to the department
    • Engages with customers by approaching them and initiating conversation
    • Asks open ended questions to establish customer needs
    • Confidently demonstrates product knowledge
    • Maximises sale by offering additional products and services
    • Overcomes objections by offering alternatives
    • Operates till efficiently
    • Informs customer of current events and promotions
    • Takes every opportunity to promote and open Liberty Loyalty Card
    • Takes personal responsibility for ensuing customer problems are resolved
    • Creates further selling opportunities by taking customer details and contacting them to give them a reason to return


    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Interior design experience or relevant qualifications is advantageous
    • Excels in achieving personal goals
    • Consistently delivers a great performance
    • Has a strong customer centric focus
    • Works well with others.
    • Demonstrates a real drive for excellence
