    Fire Health and Safety Assessor

    North Yorkshire/ North East/ Home based (regional travel)

    Permanent

    £40,000 - £45,000


    An established health and safety consultancy is seeking a knowledgeable and client‑focused Fire, Health & Safety Assessor to join its growing team. In this role, you’ll support a wide range of clients in meeting their statutory responsibilities while delivering high‑quality, practical and cost‑effective solutions. This is a home based position with regular regional travel.


    The Fire, Health and Safety Assessor will be responsible for:

    • Provide clear and practical advice on fire, health and safety matters
    • Complete Health & Safety risk assessments, gap analyses and audits
    • Undertake fire risk assessments, create emergency evacuation plans and produce PEEPs
    • Deliver additional services such as policy and procedure reviews, DSE assessments and traffic management assessments
    • Build strong, professional relationships with clients and colleagues


    The Fire, Health and Safety Assessor will have:

    • Level 3 Certificate in Health and Safety (or equivalent)
    • Level 3 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment (or equivalent)
    • Foundation level on the National Fire Risk Assessors Register
    • Confident communicator and the ability to build strong working relationships
    • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
