Role Description
This full-time, on-site role is based in Edinburgh, where the Interior Designer will deliver residential and boutique hotel design projects. Responsibilities include developing innovative design concepts, drafting construction drawings, space planning, selecting and coordinating FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment), and collaborating with clients and contractors. The Interior Designer will also ensure projects align with client visions while maintaining the highest standards of precision and quality.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Interior Design, including conceptualizing and implementing bespoke designs
- Strong skills in Space Planning to maximize functionality and aesthetics
- Can create drawings and visuals to illustrate concepts through to detailed designs
- Knowledge of FF&E processes, including selection, estimating, coordination, and sourcing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in relevant design software and tools - Autocad, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, EstiPC, Microsoft / Outlook.
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required
- Full, clean UK driving license
- Permission to work in the UK
- Experience in luxury residential or boutique hotel design is highly desirable
