Senior 3D Artist – Contract
Location: Wiltshire
Duration: Until June 2026
Our client is looking for a Senior 3D Artist to create high‑quality, photorealistic imagery and drive visual excellence across global marketing materials. You’ll lead creatively, set the standard for image quality, and produce innovative 3D visuals that communicate complex product stories with clarity and precision.
You’ll work independently and collaboratively across creative and commercial teams, contributing ideas from concept through to final output. This role suits an artist with exceptional technical ability, strong visual judgement, and the ambition to continually push creative boundaries.
Key Skills:
- Advanced rendering skills (Maya or similar; VRay preferred)
- Polygon modelling (mechanical & organic)
- Surfacing & shader creation (procedural/bitmap, PBR workflows)
- Expert lighting for photoreal results
- Key-frame animation; VFX beneficial
- Nuke compositing; strong Photoshop retouching
- Confident art direction and visual storytelling
Responsibilities:
- Produce high‑quality, accurate imagery to brief and deadline
- Provide creative and technical ideas throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead or support on image creation for multiple media formats
- Solve technical challenges and improve workflows
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers
- Uphold brand standards while exploring new creative approaches
- Contribute to team development, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
