ROLE OVERVIEW:
Our client is seeking a Tender & Bid Team Leader to join a leading medical equipment company based in the Berkshire area. As the Tender & Bid Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in managing the full tender and bid process across all business units, ensuring high-quality submissions that support the delivery of profitable sales and outcomes-based solutions for customers and patients.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Tender & Bid Team Leader will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Lead, support, and develop a team of Tender & Bid Specialists and Administrators, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
2. Oversee end-to-end tender and bid processes and Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring legal and procedural compliance.
3. Champion ESG, Sustainability, and Social Value within the tender process, aligning submissions with evolving market and regulatory expectations.
4. Monitor performance metrics and generate regular reporting to support strategic decisions.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Tender & Bid Team Leader, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a business, science, or economics-related discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in tender and bid or related commercial roles.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with MS Office applications; SharePoint and Power BI is a plus.
