    We're expanding our sales and marketing team and have an opportunity for a part time or full time, telephone sales person. The role is focussed on discovering new opportunities and booking meetings, that will then be managed jointly with yourself, and account manager(product knowledge and proposal writing) and technical consultant(Technical pre-sales advice for the customer and specifications). You are rewarded at the point of discovering and booking the qualified meeting and then again if we are successful in winning the customer and opportunity. Meaning that there is lots of opportunity for learning and self development, but the commission structure is also very strong.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time, office based position (you need to be in between the sales team and the engineers) for a Telephone Sales Representative specializing in IT Sales.


    The Office is based just outside the City Centre in Girton, with ample free parking.


    The role involves daily outreach to prospective clients via phone, email and social, supported by marketing campaigns and access to business intelligence tools and AI, such as Snitches/Lead Forensics/Genie AI, Lusha etc. Your goal is to reach the named decision makers(from our database), understanding their IT needs and issues, then presenting appropriate solutions provided by the company. Your main goal is to build rapport and relationships, ultimately resulting in a qualified meeting for the account manager and technical consultant to attend. However, you don't get excluded at that point and have the benefit of remaining part of the process and learning from highly experienced sales and technical people. Often, you will get the opportunity to work on deals with our Managing Director too!


    Our customer avatar, what they purchase and solutions to present them is completely refined and you will receive training on these. There is no guessing and you can be confident in the business and the services we offer. We are not starting out, we are looking to scale.


    Financially it's incentivised by a basic salary, great and unlimited commission for setting meetings/appointments and then additional commission when we sign up the customer or win the sale.


    We're a true tech company at heart and this role is ideal for someone that is a proven leads and appointments generator, that has strong interest in tech, business development and is driven to earn really good money.


    Qualifications, Experience, pre-requisites

    • Fluent written and spoken English as you will be dealing with business leaders and with the education sector.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
    • Experienced in sales and specifically business development or lead generation. We are not looking to teach someone the basics of selling.
    • Not afraid to talk to people and do sales overall mediums including the phone
    • Experience in sales with in a tech environment (IT, datacentre, Vendor, Distributer, Reseller, Telecoms etc) - there needs to be some experience that's relevant and an interest in IT.
    • Familiarity with IT products, services
    • Experience in following up marketing campaigns
    • Ability to build and maintain client relationships and provide exceptional customer service
    • Strong organization, time management, and multitasking capabilities
    • A proactive approach with a goal-oriented mindset
    • Ideally someone with a good work history.
    • Ability to travel to the office and work from the office with the rest of the team (Part or full time options available.)
    • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) tools and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ideally someone with a good work history.
