    Job description

Kickstart your career in medical device sales with full training and development that sets you up for long-term success.

We’re looking for someone who wants to enter the medical sales industry and join a high performing orthopaedics sales team based in Nottingham. With a clear path to progression and the tools to get you there, you’ll build commercial and clinical expertise while working alongside some of the most talented people in the industry. You’ll also get a direct route to more senior positions as you grow your skills and make an impact.

And because sales is a numbers game, your success will be rewarded with a performance-based bonus scheme.

    Who it’s for

With a strong reputation in the orthopaedics and spinal market, this business is well-positioned for growth. They’ve recently made huge advances in the surgical robotics field and now boast a robotic navigation platform designed to improve efficiencies and patient safety in spinal surgeries.

What’s in it for you? Aside from the bonus we mentioned earlier, you’ll also benefit from a solid overall package. There’s the choice of a company car or car allowance, which will give you the freedom to travel across your territory in a way that suits you. On top of that, you’ll get medical, dental and vision coverage, matched pension contributions and generous annual leave to help you maintain a good work-life balance.

    What you’ll do

This is a great opportunity to take a portfolio of orthopaedic spinal products to market and grow revenue and market share.

Under the guidance of a Regional Sales Manager and experienced Account Manager, you’ll be tasked with taking a spinal portfolio to market. You will supervise day-to-day operations in various clinical settings and provide excellent customer consultation and support.

This role involves case covering in theatre, building relationships with healthcare professionals and organisational activities, such as stock management, admin and transferring the appropriate kit to hospitals.

    Other responsibilities include:

    • Establishing and developing relationships with key clinical customers
    • Building specialised knowledge of the product portfolio and latest clinical developments
    • Covering clinical procedures in theatre settings
    • Liaising with customer services and other administrative functions
    • Ensuring that a quality service is delivered

    What you'll need

    • You’ll have a proven track record of sales success, as well as:
    • Degree Educated in a relevant discipline (ideally medical/scientific based)
    • An understanding of healthcare/anatomy
    • High level of business awareness and commercial acumen
    • Flexible for weekend-work on occasion and willing to travel
    • Keen to develop both professionally and personally
    • Problem solver with a drive to succeed

    The fine print
