About Zettafleet
Zettafleet is an end-to-end platform for businesses and organisations to train their own LLM on their proprietary data. We can use non-conventional AI hardware and automatically source and combine GPUs (and other types of AI accelerators) from multiple cloud providers, enabling users to optimise for cost, duration or geographic location of the training.
The founding team consists of Cambridge and Oxford graduates, and former engineers at Google, Meta, Bloomberg, Microsoft and Amazon. We are backed by prominent investors from the US and the UK, including institutional VC funds and C-level executives of global technology companies.
About the role
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where no two days are the same. You will be involved across product, operations, and commercial initiatives to drive the next phase of growth. This is an “AI startup MBA”. The experience gained from this role will prepare you for a leadership role in business development, sales or operations.
In this role, you will:
- Work directly with the founders on the company’s top-priority initiatives.
- Deal with our business partners, talk to customers, gather insights, and help shape product strategy.
- Support online and in-person growth initiatives (content, events and leads).
- Prepare materials, reports, and insights to support CEO-level decisions.
- Embrace ambiguity, shift priorities quickly, and tackle whatever’s most important to move the business forward.
What we are looking for:
- 3–5 years of high-intensity experience: You’ve probably spent time in management consulting, investment banking, or a high-growth startup.
- Strong ownership mindset: You naturally take responsibility and accountability for outcomes, not just tasks, and care deeply about the quality of your work. The work is not done at 5pm, the work is done when the task is done.
- Problem solving: Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail. You have the ability to break down complex projects into actionable tasks.
- Collaboration and communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working with multiple stakeholders.
- Execution: You’ve built something from the ground up and know what it takes for a business to succeed. You know how to implement things.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a strong generalist with deep specialisation in at least one of the following items (and familiarity with at least two other items):
- British corporate law
- Accounting
- Preparation of grant funding applications
- Business development
- Business operations
- Recruitment
- Sales (B2B SaaS)
- Marketing, PR and copywriting
- Community building (of a technical community)
- Event management
- Visual design
If the above feels like it’s a whole company then you are not wrong. You are joining a startup, get yourself a helmet!
How we work:
We are a small, early-stage team with big ambitions. We move quickly, care deeply about what we build, and take pride in doing things well.
This is a high-ownership environment where people who are proactive, curious, and motivated by impact tend to thrive.
Why join us?
- Competitive salary, equity and benefits package.
- 28 days + public holidays allowance.
- This role is a stepping stone for high performers – transition into functions such as operations, customer success, product, or growth, depending on your strengths.
- Gain a seat at the table for major strategic decisions.
- Work with high-profile customers and technology partners.
