About the role
We’re looking for a confident, innovative and experienced Buyer to help build a go-to destination for luxury, affordable Jewellery & Watches that blend trend, style and sentiment.
Reporting into the Head of Buying, you will be responsible for identifying product opportunities in this fast-growing category, ensuring every product meets our brand standards, customer expectations and commercial targets.
This is a hands-on, highly commercial role that blends product curation, market insight, and supplier management. In this role you will be responsible for the full buying cycle, blending a natural flair for product & innovation with rigorous financial analysis to drive growth across Jewellery and Watches categories.

Range Building
- Negotiate terms, product & pricing
- Source and develop product, working closely with suppliers to develop jewellery & watches
- Manage the critical path and full buying cycle
- Develop and implement a pricing architecture that delivers a curated “good, better, best” product proposition
- Lead and execute comprehensive market research to guide product direction and uncover growth opportunities
- Collaborate closely with the Design team across sourced and development propositions
- Ensure that product collections align with current market trends and consumer preferences
Supplier Management
- Own all supplier relationships - from negotiating commercial terms to ensuring timely deliveries and consistent product quality
- International travel requirements depending on the business needs
- Drive supplier sourcing strategies to ensure product is placed with best suited factory to maximise product quality
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Create detailed product handover documents for each new product launch, ensuring all business departments are informed of the key USPs and purpose
- Collaborate with the marketing and brand team on product collections for brand and influencer collaborations, ensuring alignment with critical paths
- Partner with design, marketing, logistics and trading teams to ensure smooth product launches, brand consistency and campaign readiness.
- Work with marketing and Ecommerce to promote the right products following the critical path.
Reporting, Existing Range Management & Trading
- Produce comprehensive sales analyses on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis for presentation to the Senior Leadership Team, highlighting risks & opportunities while proactively setting trading actions to support HOD.
- Track performance, manage stock levels and refine the category assortment based on what is working, what is trending, and what the customer wants.
- Work in partnership with the Merchandising and Trading teams to manage the existing product range, including markdown strategies and promotional planning.
- Coordinate with the wider team to ensure alignment with the critical path for product launches
- Collaborate with the Finance and Merchandising teams to manage OTB and to optimise inventory management
- Continuously monitor competitor activity and perform regular competitive analyses to stay ahead in the market
Leadership
- Delegating up and down within the team
- Communicating any issues to HOD / SLT with a solution focused approach
- Driving own development and working with and developing Assistant & Junior Buyers and Buying Administrators
- Holding regular 1-2-1 meetings with the team
- Building strong relationships and putting in place best practice - within your team and across the business for continuous improvement.

- You have previous experience in a Junior Buyer / Buyer position
- You’re experienced in managing the full buying cycle
- You have the ability to work within budgets whilst still trading profit opportunities
- You are proficient in new product development and pricing strategy developments
- You’re advanced in Excel for data analysis, reporting and planning
- You’re confident in managing your team & collaborating across teams including design, marketing and merchandising
- You are experienced in customer focus groups and integrating feedback into products
- You are innovative and able to thrive in a dynamic environment to drive continuous improvement
- Strategic Planning & Execution: ability to develop actionable plans for category expansion and product launches
- You have existing knowledge in Jewellery & Watches

This is a full time - hybrid role, with 3 days per week based in our London Hub.
