Commercial Legal Counsel (NQ–1 PQE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified lawyer to join the commercial legal team of a global sports and media organisation.
The team supports a wide range of revenue-generating and strategic commercial arrangements, including broadcasting, digital media, sponsorship, licensing, and service provider agreements, while also advising the wider business on brand protection, advertising, data protection and emerging technology issues.
The Role
You will advise on, draft and negotiate a broad mix of commercial agreements, including:
- Sponsorship and partnership agreements
- Media and digital distribution agreements
- Licensing arrangements (consumer products, gaming and experiential)
- Complex services and technology contracts
You will also provide day-to-day commercial legal advice to internal stakeholders, support procurement activities, assist with data protection matters, contribute to know-how and training, and help maintain templates and playbooks.
The Ideal Candidate
- NQ - 1 PQE
- Trained at a leading law firm
- Solid experience in commercial contracts, IP and data protection
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Comfortable managing multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Commercial, pragmatic and collaborative, with excellent communication skills
