HR Business Partner
📍 East Ham (with travel across all sites)
🕒 36 hours per week | 5 days (Mon–Fri)
🏠 1 day per week from home
📅 2-month temporary contract (potential temp-to-perm)
💷 £16-£18 per hour
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Business Partner to join our team on an initial 2-month contract, with the potential to become permanent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR professional who can hit the ground running, take ownership of their remit, and operate at pace in a busy environment.
The Role
You will be a key operational partner to stakeholders, providing expert HR support across the full employee lifecycle. This is a highly operational role requiring someone who is proactive, solutions-focused, and ready to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end HR support across the full employee lifecycle
- Partner with managers to provide practical, business-focused HR advice
- Take ownership of designated areas and drive outcomes
- Support employee relations casework and operational HR delivery
- Contribute to HR best practice and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Substantial experience working as an HR Business Partner
- Strong operational HR background
- Experience within the Further Education (FE) sector is essential
- Able to work independently and manage a varied workload
- Comfortable travelling to multiple sites
- Enhanced DBS within 3 Months or on the Update Service
