Dispute Resolution Legal Secretary
Location: Dudley - Onsite
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 DOE
An outstanding opportunity exists for a skilled Legal Secretary to join a dedicated Dispute Resolution team, committed to delivering exceptional legal services and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly check and prioritise dictation queues, ensuring tasks are completed across departments.
- Collaborate with Office Assistants to delegate and track administrative tasks to completion.
- Handle finance-related requests promptly, including billing and transaction queries.
- Manage both electronic and hard copy filing and maintenance.
- Produce and amend documents, including typing and document formatting, using track changes and creating comparison documents.
- Prepare legal bundles and support fee earners with the file opening process.
- Coordinate document collation and distribution tasks such as photocopying, printing, or scanning.
- Liaise with the PA team and other secretaries to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
Essential Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, adapting style to suit various needs.
- Ability to manage deadlines and workload with resilience and a positive attitude.
- Team-oriented with a flexible approach to contribute to shared goals.
- Strong understanding of financial hygiene and commitment to high-quality service delivery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and familiarity with audio/digital dictation and document production.
