Key Responsibilities:
As the Demand Planning Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the monthly demand forecasting process, ensuring the business has a unified and high-quality demand forecast. You will be responsible for:
- Leading the monthly demand forecasting process across the UK & Europe.
- Analysing historical EPOS/Sage/customer sales, orders received/invoiced, customer forecasts, and ordering patterns to predict future demand trends.
- Collaborating with the sales team to review promotional plans, new customer listings, and range extensions.
- Working closely with Supply Chain planners to align on supply plans and SKU categorization.
- Delivering accurate forecast recommendations based on insights into new product launches, customer growth, and market trends.
- Driving forecast accuracy improvements and implementing trackers to enhance forecast reliability.
- Leading process improvements and supporting the implementation of Relex (planning software).
- Maintaining accurate data within Relex to ensure a consistent forecasting process.
- Taking on additional responsibilities as required by the role.
Profile
- Proven experience in demand planning and forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manipulate and analyse large datasets.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to present complex data clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.
- A proactive mindset with a drive to improve processes and enhance ways of working.
- Experience with Sage and/or Relex (planning software).
- Familiarity with the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Experience with Power Query and/or Power BI.
