Real Estates Disputes Lawyer - London
We are delighted to be working with a leading London law firm on the continued growth of its Tier 1 ranked Real Estate Disputes team. The firm is looking to appoint multiple solicitors (3–8 PQE) as part of a strategic expansion driven by sustained client demand and an exceptionally strong pipeline of work.
This is a rare opportunity to join one of London’s most respected property litigation practices a team that combines City-quality work with a genuinely collegiate, long-term culture.
A Market-Leading Practice
With an expansive and sophisticated offering, the property litigation department continues to attract an impressive client base, acting for investors, developers and occupier companies, as well as major American streaming services and multinational investment companies.
The team is widely recognised for its technical excellence and depth of expertise across complex real estate disputes. It is led by highly regarded partners known for overseeing 1954 Act disputes, property insolvency matters and rights to light issues.
On the residential disputes and leasehold enfranchisement side, the team includes senior lawyers with experience appearing before both the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court — reflecting the calibre and profile of matters handled.
The wider group is also noted for its expertise in development and investment disputes, alongside telecoms code and landlord and tenant matters. The breadth of knowledge within the team ensures associates benefit from close partner access, strong mentoring and exposure to high-value, technically challenging instructions.
The team’s Tier 1 ranking reflects consistent market recognition for quality, service and results.
The Role – Residential Focus
While the wider practice spans both commercial and residential disputes, this particular hire is very much residentially focused.
The firm is seeking a solicitor whose experience to date has been predominantly residential property disputes, and who is genuinely motivated to continue building a long-term specialism in this space.
You can expect a varied, high-quality caseload, including:
- Leasehold enfranchisement disputes
- Residential landlord and tenant matters
- 1954 Act issues
- Rights of light
- Property insolvency matters
- Development and investment disputes
- Telecoms Code disputes
Experience advising on matters relating to the Building Safety Act would be beneficial, but is by no means essential.
This is an opportunity to deepen your expertise within a team that is consistently instructed on complex and high-profile residential matters.
Culture & Career Development
One of the firm’s standout qualities is its supportive and collaborative environment. Despite operating at the top end of the London market, the culture is approachable, partner-led and genuinely invested in long-term career progression.
Associates are given meaningful responsibility, client exposure and clear progression pathways. The leadership team is hands-on and committed to mentoring — making this an excellent platform for ambitious lawyers looking to take the next step in their career within a stable and growing team.
Importantly, the team is hiring more than one solicitor, reflecting sustained growth rather than replacement hiring.
