Job Description:
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our London office as our first permanent hire in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and career-driven individual who is looking to develop quickly within a growing consultancy.
Working closely with senior leadership and project teams across Europe, you will gain hands-on exposure to major projects while developing your commercial, contractual and client-facing skills. As the London commercial team expands, there will be genuine potential for rapid career progression and increased responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering cost management services throughout project lifecycle.
- Support preparation of cost plans, budgets and financial reporting.
- Assist with procurement processes and tender analysis.
- Prepare and review interim valuations and variation assessments.
- Support preparation of final accounts and project close-out documentation.
- Work with clients, consultants and contractors to support project delivery.
- Maintain project records, cost tracking and reporting documentation.
- Assist with commercial risk reviews and project due diligence.
- Provide support on technically complex projects, including data centre developments.
- Develop client relationships and participate in project meetings.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Relevant third-level qualification.
- 2–5 years’ Quantity Surveying experience (consultancy experience advantageous).
- Experience within construction projects, ideally exposure to data centres or mission critical projects.
- Understanding of pre-contract and post-contract cost management processes.
- Mechanical and Electrical exposure beneficial but not essential.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Ambitious, motivated and career-driven with a desire for progression.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a growing team environment.
