A leading high street fashion supplier is seeking a talented Women’s Junior/Mid Level Knitwear Designer to join their established design team. This opportunity offers excellent career progression within a growing business, joining a friendly, dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design trend-led, commercial knitwear collections across customer accounts and in-house ranges
- Strong understanding of knit construction, yarns, gauges and production processes
- Conduct trend research, competitor analysis and store visits
- Present collections to customers and incorporate feedback
- Manage the design process to critical path deadlines
- Attend UK and international inspiration trips and yarn fairs
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in women’s knitwear design within a supplier or high street environment
- Strong commercial portfolio demonstrating trend awareness
- Proficient in Illustrator and CAD; confident creating detailed tech packs
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
