Real Estate Lawyer - NQ–6 PQE) - London
A highly regarded UK law firm is set to recruit into its London Commercial Real Estate team at both junior and mid-level. This is a strong opportunity to join a practice with an established market reputation across the hotel, office, retail and logistics sectors, acting on high-value investment transactions and complex asset management mandates.
The team is known for delivering commercially astute, technically robust advice to a broad range of institutional investors, fund managers, developers and major property companies. With a steady pipeline of quality work and continued client demand, the group is investing in growth and looking to add talented associates who want to build a long-term career within a well-structured and supportive real estate platform.
The Team
The commercial real estate practice is substantial, partner-led and sector-focused. It has developed a strong reputation in the hotel, office and logistics markets, alongside recognised strength in retail real estate. The team acts on a full spectrum of property matters, combining large-scale investment acquisitions and disposals with ongoing portfolio management and strategic asset advice.
Recent work includes advising on a landmark £490 million transaction involving a major UK shopping centre, reflecting the scale, profile and complexity of matters handled by the group. The practice is consistently recognised in legal directories for its comprehensive property expertise, commercial approach and strong client relationships. The team operates in a collaborative, collegiate manner, with clear supervision structures and genuine investment in associate development. Lawyers are encouraged to take ownership of matters while benefiting from close partner access and mentoring.
The Roles
The firm is recruiting at two levels:
- NQ–2 PQE (Junior Associate)
- 3–6 PQE (Mid-Level Associate)
Both roles are growth-driven and form part of the team’s broader expansion strategy. The mid-level hire, in particular, offers the opportunity to step into a meaningful role within a busy and well-balanced practice. These positions will suit lawyers who are keen to develop their careers in a team that combines high-quality transactional work with long-term asset management relationships.

- Investment acquisitions and disposals (single asset and portfolio)
- Asset management work, including landlord and tenant matters
- Development-related property support
- Strategic property advice to institutional investors and asset managers
- Ongoing portfolio management for significant UK real estate holdings
A key requirement is demonstrable experience across both investment commercial real estate and asset management commercial real estate. The team is seeking individuals who understand the lifecycle of property ownership from acquisition through to active management and who can demonstrate practical, hands-on experience in both areas. The work requires a commercially minded approach, strong drafting capability and the ability to manage transactions efficiently while maintaining a high level of client service.

The firm is open-minded regarding background and firm pedigree. The emphasis is on experience, capability and attitude rather than where a candidate trained.
Applicants should:
- Be England & Wales qualified
- Have between NQ and 6 years’ PQE
- Demonstrate solid exposure to both investment and asset management commercial real estate work
- Be confident handling matters with appropriate supervision
