    Job description

Join a leading telecommunications company as an E-commerce Product Owner!

    Job Overview

As a Product Owner, you will help shape and optimise the digital shopping experience for millions of customers. In this role, you will drive discovery, strategy, and delivery of ecommerce enhancements across our client’s website, using data and customer insight to build solutions that convert, simplify, and delight. You’ll work end‑to‑end on new features, capabilities, and optimisations within a fast‑moving product squad.

    Key Details

    • Location: London (hybrid – twice per week on-site)
    • Rate: £500 per day (inside IR35)
    • Contract Length: until end of August 2026

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead product discovery using analytics, research, and market insights to identify opportunities across the ecommerce journey.
    • Build and manage a brand‑new product backlog from scratch, defining user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
    • Own Jira management, including sprint planning, backlog prioritisation, and day‑to‑day ticket oversight.
    • Collaborate with UX, design, development squads, commercial teams, and marketing to deliver new features at pace.
    • Interpret A/B test results and usability findings to inform ongoing optimisation.
    • Define and prioritise the product roadmap based on value, feasibility, and alignment with KPIs and OKRs.
    • Oversee in‑life performance of released features and drive continuous improvement across the digital experience.

    Key Requirements

    • Strong ecommerce product management experience (any retail background).
    • Hands‑on Agile and Scrum experience, including working within cross‑functional squads.
    • Confident using data to identify trends, shape decisions, and validate outcomes (e.g., Glassbox, analytics tools).
    • Proven Jira experience: writing user stories, managing sprints, and prioritising backlogs.
    • Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to challenge constructively and explain trade‑offs clearly.
    • Experience delivering digital product enhancements end‑to‑end, from discovery through to optimisation.
