Main Function of the job: To accurately and efficiently receive, store and despatch goods in line with company procedures
Other Key Internal Relationships
- Daily contact with Warehouse Manager
- Daily contact with Workshop, Sales, Accounts & Customer Services
Main Duties & Tasks
- Unload delivery vehicles and check goods received accurately
- Act as part of a team to unload containers efficiently and safely.
- Safely palletise goods, shrink wrap and put away to stock location
- Pick, pack and check orders with a high level of care and accuracy
- Load all vehicles in a safe and presentable manner
- Highlight any errors or damage immediately
- Assist with monthly stock counting.
- Dealing with internal & external telephone enquiries
- Initiate and maintain high levels of site housekeeping
- Maintain high levels of health & safety and report any concerns to Warehouse Operations Manager immediately
- Actively work towards to the overall company objectives, and work in collaboration with other Evolution employees to ensure continuous improvement.
- Jobholder may be required to travel occasionally
Skills, Experience and Competencies
Essential
- Good communication skills
- Good level of numeracy

- Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines#

- Able to handle and manoeuvre heavy loads
Desirable
- Basic IT skills in Excel / Word / Outlook
- Counterbalance, Reach & VNA Fork Lift Truck License
