The role
You'll own full-cycle technical recruiting across full stack engineering for Europe, with a strong emphasis on sourcing. The bar is high and the expectation is that you hold it. 40% of hires come through referrals, which tells you something about the quality of people already inside this business.
You'll have genuine say in how recruiting gets built across the region, not just in London, and the function is still being shaped globally which means the timing is right for someone who wants to build something.
Your manager
The hiring manager has scaled international recruiting teams across EMEA and APAC and has a reputation in this market that is genuinely rare. I worked with her years ago and her reputation for how she manages and develops people is one of the strongest I have come across in tech recruiting.
She is not a metrics-first manager. She hires people she trusts, invests time in their careers, and focuses on removing blockers rather than creating them. Someone who worked with her recently described her as one of the kindest and most effective leaders they've ever had.
The culture
Unlike most AI companies at this stage, they've actually built their culture around the idea that intensity and having a life outside work are not mutually exclusive. Family is a stated value here and they mean it.
Who this is for
You've been inside a high-growth tech company early, with a small team, strong sourcing, and a bar that most companies would not sustain. You know what exceptional full stack engineering talent looks like. The 0-1 phase is where you do your best work and you would rather be back there than managing a mature function someone else built.
Location and compensation
London based with Monday to Thursday in the office. Base salary is £145,000 plus equity.
