We are currently recruiting an experienced Mammographer to support NHS breast services, covering both symptomatic (2WW) and breast screening clinics.
This role requires a highly skilled practitioner who is confident in reporting mammography studies and performing interventional breast biopsy procedures.
About the Role
- Deliver high-quality mammography services across 2WW symptomatic and screening pathways
- Independently report mammograms in line with NHS standards
- Perform interventional procedures, including breast biopsies
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary breast team
- Support safe, efficient patient pathways within breast imaging services
Essential Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Radiography
- HCPC Registration
- NHS Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP) accredited postgraduate qualification in Mammography
- Proven experience in reporting mammography and interventional biopsy procedures
- Experience working within 2WW and breast screening clinics
- Strong clinical judgement and communication skills
