Visum Recruitment has the pleasure of representing our client in the Manufacturing Industry, who are on the lookout for a CAD Designer to join them on a full-time, permanent basis at their site in Banbury.
The ideal candidate will have strong AutoCAD capability with a focus on 2D design, primarily producing factory layouts and conducting site surveys. This role is suited to someone with a solid working knowledge of Autodesk software who is looking to further develop their technical expertise and product knowledge within an established engineering business. This is not a managerial position.
CAD Designer Job Overview
- Producing detailed 2D factory layouts using AutoCAD
- Carrying out site surveys and translating findings into accurate technical drawings
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure designs meet project and client requirements
- Developing product knowledge over time to support equipment recommendations
- Ensuring all drawings and documentation are completed accurately and in line with company standards
- Supporting the wider engineering and project teams with technical design input
CAD Designer Job Requirements
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD with a focus on 2D design
- Solid working knowledge of Autodesk software

CAD Designer Salary & Benefits
- Junior Level – £30,000 - £40,000
- Senior Level – £40,000 - £50,000
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
- 8:30am – 5pm Monday – Friday
- Onsite parking
