A leading Global Investment platform has engaged us to appoint a Vice President – CLO Operations to lead and oversee a complex structured credit platform. This is a hands-on leadership role with direct management responsibility for two team members.
The position sits within the investment team and responsibilities include:
- Assuming end-to-end ownership of operational oversight for multiple CLO vehicles, from post-closing through full lifecycle management
- Leading, developing, and managing a team of two direct reports, setting priorities, reviewing output, and driving best-in-class operational standards
- Overseeing adherence to CLO documentation, indentures, eligibility criteria, and portfolio guidelines, ensuring robust governance and control
- Directing the monitoring and validation of compliance tests, coverage ratios, concentration limits, and waterfall mechanics
- Serving as the senior technical point of contact for trustees, collateral managers, administrators, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders
- Reviewing and approving offering memoranda, amendments, investor reporting, and trustee reports to ensure accuracy and regulatory alignment
- Overseeing regulatory reporting requirements and maintain a strong internal control framework across structured credit products
- Playing a lead operational role in new CLO issuances, resets, refinancing's, and restructurings
Required Experience & Skills
- A minimum of six years experience in CLO operations and compliance within asset management, investment banking, or a trustee/administrator environment.
- Deep technical knowledge of CLO structures, cash flow waterfalls, coverage tests, reinvestment criteria, and transaction documentation.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying complex legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Prior experience managing or mentoring junior team members is not a pre requisite but desirable.
