The Opportunity
This is not a traditional HR Business Partner role.
We are looking for a Senior People Business Partner who has operated at pace; ideally forged in a consulting environment and sharpened within high-growth technology or SaaS businesses; someone who understands what it truly takes to scale Product and Engineering teams in complex, global environments.
You will own the end-to-end people strategy for the Product function, partnering directly with senior Product and Engineering leaders to shape organisational design, capability build, performance, and culture as the business continues to scale.
This role sits at the intersection of commercial growth, product innovation, and technical excellence. You will be a trusted advisor, challenging, influencing, and enabling leadership to build high-performing, resilient, and scalable teams.

You will deliver:
- Own and drive the people strategy for Product and Engineering, aligning talent priorities to commercial and product roadmaps.
- Partner with senior Product leaders on organisational design, workforce planning, and capability build to support scale.
- Lead performance, reward, and review cycles across a highly skilled technical population.
- Build competency frameworks tailored to Product and Engineering roles; creating clarity around progression, capability, and impact.
- Coach and influence senior leaders through change, growth, and transformation initiatives.
- Navigate and resolve complex employee relations matters with confidence and sound commercial judgement.
- Use data and insight to inform decision-making across talent, engagement, L&D, and organisational effectiveness.
- Act as a visible, credible leader within the People function; setting the standard for strategic business partnering.
You will have:
Consulting-Grade Strategic Thinking - You may have trained in a Big 4 or top-tier consulting environment; or have equivalent exposure to global, matrixed, high-performance organisations. You understand how to operate at executive level and are comfortable managing complexity.
Proven Experience Scaling Tech & SaaS - You have partnered with Product and/or Engineering teams within a software or SaaS business. You understand product development lifecycles, agile environments, and the unique dynamics of technical populations.
Product & Engineering Fluency - You can speak the language of product managers, engineers, and technical leaders. You understand how innovation cycles, delivery velocity, and capability building intersect with people strategy.
Commercial Acumen - You think beyond HR; you understand growth levers, margins, investment decisions, and how people strategy directly impacts product delivery and revenue.
Transformation & Change Leadership - You have led or supported large-scale organisational change and know how to bring leaders and teams with you.
Credibility at Executive Level - You build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders; challenging where necessary and influencing with confidence.
Resilience & Pace - You are comfortable in fast-growth environments where priorities shift and impact matters.
