The role of the Pre-Contracts Manager – Commercial Office Fit Out will involve:
- Estimator position dealing with a range of commercial office fit out projects
- Manage client enquiries by arranging survey meetings, understanding project briefs, carrying out measured surveys, and maintaining clear communication throughout.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates by analysing survey information, obtaining supplier pricing, and producing detailed quotations and schedules of works.
- Coordinate design information including drawings, layouts, and visual materials to support client proposals and presentations.
- Maintain project and quotation records by logging enquiries, updating systems, revising estimates, and tracking project progress.
- Support project handover by finalising scope, costs, and documentation and ensuring a smooth transition to the delivery team.
- Working on projects ranging in value up to £1m
The ideal applicant will be a Pre-Contracts Manager – Commercial Office Fit Out with
- Must have estimating experience within the construction industry
- Ideally have estimating experience within fit out or related market sector such as: shopfitting, refurbishment, design & build, joinery or FF&E
- Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good team player who also works well individually
