📦 Export Customs Specialist
Location: Feltham
Salary: Circa £35,000 + Benefits
We are recruiting for an experienced Export Customs Specialist to join a global, market-leading logistics provider based in Feltham.
This is a full start-to-finish export customs role, managing a high volume of entries across multiple modes. The successful candidate will take ownership of the complete export customs process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth release of shipments in line with HMRC regulations.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the entire export customs lifecycle — from document review and entry submission through to clearance and billing — within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and submitting high volumes of export customs entries via CDS
- Managing the full export process from instruction through to post-clearance
- Handling standard and special procedures where required
- Reviewing commercial documentation to ensure full compliance with UK customs regulations
- Liaising directly with HMRC and other government bodies to resolve queries efficiently
- Monitoring clearance timelines to meet strict KPIs
- Ensuring accurate duty/VAT processing and final billing
- Providing clear, professional communication to customers and internal stakeholders
About You
- Proven experience in export customs clearance or brokerage
- Confident handling entries with consistent accuracy
- Strong working knowledge of UK customs regulations and procedures
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work autonomously and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
- Clear communicator with a professional, customer-focused approach
- Able to reliably commute to Feltham
