After a standout 2025, Practicus is looking for a Client Engagement Partner (360-Recruiter) to lead our growth within the Public Sector. We are looking for a sophisticated business developer who can open doors and a meticulous delivery expert who can close them with precision.
The Role & Your Journey
As a Client Engagement Partner, you will own the entire process, from the first "cold" coffee with a C-Suite Exec, to the final placement follow-up. While you will eventually have support from our delivery function, we need a consultant who leads from the front, mastering both the high-level strategic sell and the high-touch candidate experience. π€
Once established, your role becomes "180" and focused solely on bringing in Permanent and Interim opportunities. Fully supported by our best-in-class Delivery function, you will compete to become our top-Partner, where we have developed multiple Β£1m+ billers π€
Your Impact
- Strategic Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new opportunities within Public Sector/Higher Education. You will be on the phone and in the room with Senior Leaders, identifying pain points before they become vacancies. π
- Full Lifecycle Delivery: Lead the recruitment process from start to finish. This includes taking deep, consultative client briefings, writing compelling briefs, and managing the end-to-end candidate journey. π»
- High-Level Networking & Brand: Act as a true industry peer. Youβll attend events and contribute to thought leadership to raise your personal brand, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to ambitious executive leaders. π€

About You

- Experience: 5+ years in a 360-recruitment role, ideally with exposure to Public Sector, Higher Education or Non-Profit organisations. π
- The "360" Mindset: You genuinely enjoy the BD process and the thrill of the win, but you are equally committed to the delivery - the screening, the qualifying, and the process management. π
- Presence: You can hold your own in a room with driven and ambitious executive leaders, offering insight and challenging their thinking rather than just agreeing.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Bullhorn or similar CRM systems. You understand how to run recruitment processes that are Human-led and AI-assisted.
