Transport Planner (Containers)
Location: Leeds (LS10)
Salary: £33,000 – £40,000 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts between 6am and 6pm (occasional weekend overtime available)

What you’ll be doing as a Transport Planner
- Planning and coordinating container movements to keep operations efficient and compliant.
- Working closely with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and prompt delivery.
- Using systems like TOPPS and various VBS platforms to manage transport schedules and tasks.
- Handling bookings, route plans, and paperwork with an eagle eye for accuracy.
- Helping improve processes and contributing to the ongoing success of the operation.
What we’re looking for
- Solid experience in container transport planning (Would be great)
- Great communication skills and a can-do attitude.
- Confident using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of TOPPS and Port/Rail Terminal VBS systems.
- Strong attention to detail and great organisational abilities.
- A team player who can stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly to new systems and tech.
