    Merchandise Planner

    Didcot Area

    Up to £50,000

    Hybrid

A globally recognised fashion brand with a strong and growing presence across the UK and Europe is looking to appoint a Merchandise Planner into its European operation. This is a business that combines heritage, innovation and commercial pace, with product distributed through a true multi-channel model spanning wholesale, digital, marketplace and events.

This role sits at the heart of the commercial operation. You will own forecasting, intake and stock optimisation across multiple channels, ensuring availability is maximised, risk is controlled and trading decisions are driven by clear, actionable insight. You will play a key role in aligning demand, inventory and financial targets while managing OTB and supporting category growth. You will also collaborate with international planning teams to deliver against critical path milestones and maintain flow of product into the UK and European markets.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain demand forecasts aligned to the range plan
    • Set and manage sales, stock and OTB targets by sub-category
    • Own intake planning and purchasing critical path milestones
    • Deliver regular trading and availability reporting with clear recommendations
    • Drive stock utilisation across channels and propose markdown actions where required
    • Partner closely with Supply Chain to ensure timely inbound flow

    About you:

    • Experience in a Merchandise Planning role within fashion, apparel or footwear
    • Experience across wholesale, retail and eCommerce channels
    • Advanced Excel and confident working with large data sets
    • SAP or similar ERP exposure
    • Highly commercial, analytical and an effective cross-functional operator

This is an opportunity to join a brand with genuine global scale, a well-established UK footprint and a planning function that has real influence on trading performance and strategic growth.
