Growing PE-backed professional services business seeking a Legal Counsel to join its supportive and collegiate legal function.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build an in‑house career with business exposure, variety and autonomy or for an experienced generalist looking for flexible working arrangements or a 4-day week, part-time role.
The role includes:
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (supplier agreements, NDAs, loan documents, partnerships).
- Supporting data protection and GDPR compliance.
- Assisting with corporate matters, including acquisitions and shareholders agreements.
- Helping manage disputes, complaints and litigation alongside compliance colleagues.
- Updating internal policies and advising stakeholders with clear, practical and commercial guidance.
- Contributing to ad‑hoc strategic and risk‑focused projects.
What we’re looking for:
- England & Wales qualified solicitor with commercial or corporate experience.
- Background from a recognised law firm and/or in-house team.
- Strong communicator with a pragmatic, business‑minded approach.
- Confident working independently within a small team and engaging senior stakeholders.
- Proactive, adaptable and comfortable managing varied workstreams.
Working arrangements:
- Hybrid working with at least one day a week in the London office (flexible depending on candidate).
- Open to applicants seeking a four‑day week.
