We’re Hiring: Bid Co‑Ordinator

The Role
As a Bid Co‑Ordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Bid Manager and wider team in the preparation and submission of compelling bids and tenders. You'll help ensure all proposals are compliant, well‑structured, and aligned with both client requirements and company objectives.
You’ll also contribute to general marketing support, including website and social media updates, helping present Design ID at its very best.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Bid Manager / Bid Lead in preparing and submitting bids and tenders
- Carry out administrative duties across the full bid lifecycle
- Manage and maintain tender portals
- Provide general administrative support to the bid team
- Log and track new opportunities using company systems
- Maintain and update bid libraries and databases
- Ensure adherence to bid procedures and company processes
- Assist with prequalification, EOIs, selection questionnaires, and applications
- Support drafting, formatting, and quality‑checking bid submissions
- Coordinate communication across multi‑disciplinary bid teams
- Collate and format RFIs, TQs, and clarifications for client submission
- Assist with final bid submissions, including commercial and quality documentation

Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in bid administration or business administration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities
- Ability to prioritise and work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Positive, proactive, and energetic approach
Desirable:
- Understanding of bids, procurement, or business development processes
- 2+ years' experience in a similar bid role
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
- Background in construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors
- Experience working with CRM systems
