Recruiting Solutions Operations Lead - FTC - 9months

Our client is a purpose-driven organisation dedicated to connecting students and early-career talent with meaningful employment opportunities. Through innovative technology, strategic partnerships, and data-driven insight, we support employers, universities, and education providers in attracting and engaging emerging talent.

Their mission goes beyond filling roles — they aim to equip young people with the tools, confidence, and opportunities they need to succeed in the world of work.

    The Opportunity

They are seeking a Recruitment Operations Lead to oversee operational performance across our recruitment solutions and talent technology platform. This role sits within the leadership structure of the RPO function and plays a key part in ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery for clients and candidates alike.

You will combine strategic oversight with hands-on operational management, ensuring resources are deployed effectively, processes run smoothly, and service standards remain high.

    Key Responsibilities

    Resource Planning & Operational Efficiency

    • Ensure appropriate allocation of associates and flexible resources across client projects
    • Monitor capacity and adjust deployment to balance utilisation, wellbeing, and service delivery
    • Partner with delivery teams to forecast demand and proactively plan for peak periods
    • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and IT to ensure timely onboarding, contracts, and system access
    • Use resource tracking tools and data insights to inform planning decisions

    Supplier & Budget Management

    • Oversee procurement of third-party attraction and advertising channels
    • Ensure purchasing remains cost-effective and within agreed budgets
    • Maintain accurate purchase order processes and tracking

    Billing & Commercial Accuracy

    • Ensure client invoicing is raised accurately and promptly
    • Reconcile delivery activity against contracted services and third-party spend

    Team Leadership & Development

    • Provide guidance and coaching to operational and client-facing teams
    • Support performance against KPIs and service standards
    • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture

    Client Experience & Platform Delivery

    • Oversee first-line support for the candidate management platform
    • Ensure issues are resolved quickly and communication is proactive
    • Support successful platform implementations in partnership with technical teams
    • Maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients

    About You

They are looking for an experienced operations leader with a background in recruitment, RPO, or HR technology environments.

    You will demonstrate:

    • A track record of driving operational performance and process improvement
    • Strong relationship management skills and commercial awareness
    • Confidence in leading teams and developing talent
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset
    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Adaptability and confidence working with systems and data

Experience within early careers recruitment or campus hiring environments is highly advantageous.

    Role Details

    • 9-month fixed-term contract
    • Full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
    • Standard probationary period applies
    • Pre-employment screening conducted in line with company policy
