Technical Support Specialist
Hands-on technical support role supporting laboratory instruments, software and consumables, with customer travel across the UK, Europe and the US.

About the role
- Provide technical support to new and existing customers across the full product range
- Diagnose, repair and service laboratory equipment on customer sites and in-house
- Regular travel to customer locations (UK/US/Europe)
- Support customers via email and phone when required
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate orders
- Work with manufacturing and product teams on faults, improvements and new products
- Test products and perform quality/functional checks prior to sale
- Configure laptops and install software for use with equipment
Your previous experience
- Experience repairing and servicing equipment (in-house and on customer sites)
- Local to Cambridge and happy with some global travel
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and logical thinking skills
- Direct customer technical support experience
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with good listening skills
- Competent with computers, operating systems and major software tools
- Full UK driving licence, clean record
- Professional, discreet and able to represent the brand on-site
