    R&D Chemist

    Location: Cheshire

    Full Time | Permanent

    Are you a skilled R&D chemist with a strong background in polymers and a passion for technical innovation? Our client, a global leader in the polymers market, is looking for a dynamic and hands-on R&D chemist to join their team and help develop their products further.


    What You’ll Be Doing

    You will be performing hands-on development of new polymer products. Key responsibilities include:

    • Lead technical projects and development of new products.
    • Plan and conduct laboratory and pilot plant trials of newly developed products.
    • Keep up to date with evolving market needs.
    • Prepare documentation, reports and reviews to ensure project progression is consistent and compliance is met.
    • Liaise with other departments to act as a point of technical information and support.


    What You’ll Bring

    Essential

    • Degree educated in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
    • Proven experience within the polymer industry (3-5 years minimum).
    • Demonstrable experience and understanding of polymer synthesis.

    Desirable

    • Understanding of polyurethane products and their applications.
