    Job description

    Swift Education is working with a supportive secondary school in Mile End seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with additional needs across KS3–KS4.


    About the Role

    • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with SEN
    • Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
    • Assist with behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation
    • Work closely with teachers and the SEN department
    • Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

    • Inclusive mainstream secondary with strong SEN provision
    • Supportive SENCO and pastoral team
    • Excellent transport links (Central, District, H&C lines)
    • Positive staff culture with training opportunities


    The Ideal Candidate

    • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
    • Calm, patient, and resilient approach
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Psychology graduates, youth workers, and experienced TAs encouraged
    • Relevant qualifications desirable but not essential
