The Opportunity We’re partnering with a leading consulting organisation delivering a major Finance Management transformation for a global financial services client.
This is a hands-on, high-visibility role working across end-to-end finance processes – Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C). You’ll work closely with senior Finance stakeholders, including CFOs, and be part of complex, enterprise-scale initiatives to implement, optimise, and maintain financial management solutions.
Finance Consultant – Key Focus Areas

• Lead functional design workshops with Finance stakeholders to capture requirements
• Configure core finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Assets, Expenses, Procurement, Banking & Settlement)
• Support Chart of Accounts design, accounting rules, allocations, and financial reporting
• Drive data migration, validation, and integration with ERP, Payroll, Banking, and Tax systems
• Develop and test reports, dashboards, and analytics for Finance leadership
• Manage business processes, approvals, workflows, and compliance controls
• Support system testing, cutover planning, and post go-live stabilisation
• Provide knowledge transfer, training, and documentation to business teams

What We’re Looking For Essential:

• Hands-on experience in finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Assets, Expenses, Procurement, Banking & Settlement)
• Business Process configuration, security, and system setup experience
• Strong understanding of reporting, analytics, and dashboards
• Solid grounding in accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS)
• Multi-entity and multi-currency experience
• Experience with audit, compliance, and controls (SOX, statutory reporting)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Desirable:

• Exposure to the UK finance industry
• Experience in large-scale finance transformation programmes
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, or forecasting

💰 Salary: £85k base (flexible up to £100k for exceptional candidates)
