🔎What are we looking for?
We're looking for a procurement expert who can provide day-to-day operational control and visibility across third-party spend, suppliers and risk, ensuring procurement activity, renewals and onboarding are executed consistently, issues are identified early, and appropriate escalation supports effective cost and risk management.
đź—“ So, what will your day-to-day look like?
You will:
- Own all supplier due diligence, onboarding checks & control execution
- Identify, track and escalate supplier and third-party risks, ensuring issues are visible, controlled and supported
- Ensure governance, documentation and evidence meet regulatory expectations
- Run Procurement tools, MI, alerts & data management
- Maintain supplier, contract, materiality & outsourcing registers
- Run day-to-day Procurement workflow
- Provide all supply chain reporting (internal & external)
👆Does this sound like you?
- Proven experience in procurement operations, procurement risk, supplier management, or third-party oversight, ideally in the financial services industry
- Hands-on experience managing supplier due diligence, onboarding checks, and ongoing control activities
- Strong experience identifying, tracking, and escalating supplier and third-party risks
- Experience working within governance frameworks, ensuring documentation and evidence meet internal and regulatory standards
- Practical experience maintaining supplier, contract, and procurement data registers with a strong focus on data accuracy and audit readiness
- Experience running procurement workflows, including renewals, approvals, and issue management
- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, timely procurement MI and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Experience using procurement systems, tools, or data platforms
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide clear visibility
⏳ The Application Timeline
- A first stage phone call with the internal talent acquisition team (15-minute call)
- An introductory call with the hiring manager over Teams (30 minutes)
- A formal face-to-face or Teams interview with the Head of Procurement (60 minutes)

💵£35,000-£45,000 + up to 20% of your annual salary, paid as a bonus.
📍This role is hybrid and can be based at our Blackpool or Manchester office – the latter a premium workspace located in the heart of Manchester’s commercial hub with regular social events planned.
