I’m currently partnering with a leading international law firm on the search for a Shipping / Aviation Finance Knowledge Lawyer to join its established asset finance team in London.
This position sits at the core of a market-leading shipping and aviation finance practice advising on complex, cross-border and structured asset-backed transactions. The role will work closely with partners and associates to strengthen the team’s technical infrastructure and support the continued growth of the practice.
The remit will involve:
• Curating and evolving transaction precedents and know-how materials
• Tracking legal and market developments across the shipping and aviation sectors
• Designing and delivering internal training programmes
• Supporting client-facing insights and thought leadership pieces
• Contributing to process improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives
The firm is keen to speak with both experienced Knowledge Lawyers and senior associates within shipping or aviation finance who are considering a move into a more strategic, knowledge-focused position while remaining embedded in high-calibre transactional work.
Strong technical grounding in asset finance, commercial awareness, and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders will be key.
