Role: Quantity Surveyor
Location: London
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 + Travel + Bonus
We’re working with a leading London based fit out and refurbishment contractor who, following an impressive work-winning streak, is looking to bolster their commercial team with the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor.
This is an exciting opportunity to commercially lead your own landmark project - either an £8m High-End Hotel Fit Out in the City or the refurbishment of three Super Prime Townhouses in the West End. The business is known for delivering super-exciting projects, ensuring quality, focus and excellence in delivery.
What you’ll be doing
- Taking full commercial ownership of your own £8m high-profile project
- Managing cost planning, procurement and subcontractor packages
- Leading valuations, variations and final accounts
- Budget monitoring, forecasting and financial reporting
- Working closely with project delivery and design teams
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and the supply chain
- Ensuring commercial performance and project profitability
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the fit out or refurbishment sector
- Experience delivering high-end or complex projects
- Strong understanding of contracts, procurement and cost control
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Commercially astute with excellent attention to detail
- Ambitious and motivated with a desire to progress
