Senior/Womenswear Designer – Soft Wovens (Dresses, Blouses)

A leading high street supplier is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior/Soft Wovens Womenswear Designer specialising in trend-led Dresses & Blouses. You’ll work closely with the design team and Account Manager, overseeing the full design process from trend research through to customer presentations and product delivery.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the design of dresses, blouses, and other soft woven womenswear, with strong focus on shape and fabric knowledge.
- Conduct trend and market research to inspire collections.
- Develop ranges, prepare presentations, and maintain daily communication with customers.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure products align with customer expectations and timelines.
About you:
- Proven experience as a womenswear designer, ideally within a high street supplier.
- Strong commercial awareness of current trends and ability to develop brand-focused ranges.
- Excellent communication skills; confident liaising with colleagues, customers, and third-party factories across Europe and the Far East.
- Highly organised, efficient, and able to deliver under tight deadlines.
- Solid garment technical knowledge; able to compile detailed tech packs.
- Proactive, positive, and solution-oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator; 3D design experience is a bonus.
- Educated to degree level, preferably in fashion design.
