Legal Counsel –Infrastructure Project
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Legal Counsel to join a high-profile infrastructure project legal team, supporting the organisation’s interests in the operation of a multi-billion-pound Civil Works Alliance.
This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in advising on the governance, operation and ongoing development of a complex, multi-party alliance framework at the heart of a nationally significant construction programme.
The Role
- Advising on alliance governance structures and ongoing operations
- Ensuring robust contractual, commercial and regulatory compliance
- Supporting risk identification and mitigation across a complex delivery environment
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contractual documentation
- Providing strategic legal input to support successful project delivery
The Candidate
- A qualified Solicitor or Barrister (England & Wales) with strong experience in construction and engineering law
- Experience gained on major infrastructure, energy or other large-scale capital projects
- A solid understanding of construction law and contract management, including NEC and/or FIDIC forms
- Proven ability to provide clear, practical, risk-based legal advice in a fast-paced project environment
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
- A proactive, collaborative approach with a strong focus on enabling delivery
